You don't want to overkill it with harsh chemicals that can destroy your bad boy. If you've just busted out your gear from storage and you see mold or mildew...RUN! Just kidding!
Follow these steps:
Use water and mild soap (or detergent) along with a soft brush (like a toothbrush) or clean cloth to scrub the areas where the stains are located then rinse with clean water. If it is still there, repeat the process a few times until it is removed. When the life jacket is completely clean, hang it up to dry out of direct sunlight and do not put it back in use or into a storage container until it is completely dry.
